West Indies have added Amit Jangoo to their T20I squad against India as cover for Jewel Andrew.

Andrew hurt his finger taking a catch in the third ODI in New Chandigarh on October 3.

He left the field for an X-ray, and scans showed no fracture.

Andrew has not been ruled out, and medical staff continue to assess him.

Without him, captain Shai Hope opened as West Indies chased down 352.

Jangoo, 29, scored 239 runs in the ODI series, including 114 in the second match.

He has played seven T20Is, scoring 163 runs at a strike rate of 120.74.

Jangoo was drafted in specifically as cover for the wicketkeeping position.
