R Ashwin says dropping Kuldeep Yadav for the fourth T20I against West Indies “lacks a bit of common sense.”

India lost the Hyderabad match by 24 runs, levelling the series at 2-2.

Ashwin said West Indies batters struggle to read Kuldeep’s googly and leg-spin.

He estimated Kuldeep could have made a difference of 15 to 20 runs.

Kuldeep took 2 for 33 in Lucknow and 1 for 53 in Ranchi before being dropped.

Ashwin backed the earlier Indore call, when Prince Yadav was picked for yorkers.

Ashwin made the comments on his YouTube channel, Ash Ki Baat.
