Actor Yash urged fans not to hunt for small faults in Ramayana and to watch the epic with an open mind.

He spoke at the film’s Telugu pre-release event in Hyderabad. He plays Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part film.

“Please don’t try to find small faults; VFX, this-that. This chance won’t come again,” Yash said.

The film’s first glimpse and trailer drew criticism from some viewers over the quality of the visual effects.

The international trailer released on 15 October got a warmer response, though some still flagged VFX issues.

Yash backed producer Namit Malhotra, saying he takes criticism and has always tried to do his best.

Malhotra has said the team is “listening closely” to feedback, and fans noticed changes in later assets.

Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
