Charlotte visits Detroit at Little Caesars Arena, one night after Detroit lost its first game of the season at Madison Square Garden. Philadelphia visits Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in the first game of the ESPN doubleheader.

In the NBA schedule, Philadelphia at Indiana carries the national spotlight among the early games. Orlando visits Toronto at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time at Scotiabank Arena. That game sits between the early wave and the main 8:00 p.m. wave, and it will air on local television outlets.

NBA schedule moves to eight o’clock games

The NBA schedule has four games at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. New York visits Chicago at the United Center, one night after New York beat Detroit for its first win of the season. Chicago hosts a Knicks team that will be playing on the second night of a back to back set, after the win at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

Houston visits Milwaukee at Fiserv Forum at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Victor Wembanyama scored 29 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in that win, and Julian Champagnie scored 26 points off the bench.
