PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen won the women's and men's singles titles at the Hylo Open in Saarbrucken, Germany, on Sunday.

The Hylo Open is a BWF World Tour Super 500 event. Both finals lasted 39 minutes and ended in straight games.

Sindhu, the second seed, beat Denmark's Line Hojmark Kjarsfeldt 21-12, 21-14. She did not drop a game all tournament.

In the semi-final she beat 19-year-old Indian Anmol Kharb 21-13, 21-16.

The win came a week after she finished second at the French Open. It is her second title of 2026, after the Japan Open in July.

"As you keep growing, it is important to get your things better and be smarter in what you choose," Sindhu said.

Sen, the seventh seed, beat defending champion Jonatan Christie of Indonesia 21-17, 21-10. Christie is the fourth seed and world No. 6.

It was Sen's first title of the season and his second at this event, having first won it in 2019.

"It has been quite some time since I have won a tournament, so it feels really good to play this well," Sen said.

It was the first time since the 2022 India Open that two Indians won titles at the same World Tour event of Super 500 level or above.

Denmark took the men's doubles, Indonesia the women's doubles and France the mixed doubles, the only final that went to three games.
