Vodafone Idea has appointed Manoj Murali as Chief Operating Officer, effective October 19.

The telecom operator disclosed the move in a regulatory filing on Friday.

Murali, 55, joins from Ola Electric, where he was Chief Business Officer.

He brings more than 25 years of experience across telecom and mobility.

He has previously worked at both Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.

His career includes leading business turnarounds in India and Africa.

He holds an MBA from Symbiosis in Pune and an engineering degree from the University of Poona.
