Heidi Klum dressed as a giant severed version of her own left hand for her 25th annual Halloween party on October 31.

The costume showed exposed bones and a bloody wound at the wrist, and it was big enough to fill the red carpet.

Her face appeared beside the gash. It was the only clear sign of who was inside.

Klum made the costume with Mike Marino, her longtime special effects makeup collaborator.

Her legs became two of the fingers, finished with red painted nails, and gold rings added a dressier touch.

One ring was a copy of the wedding ring from her husband, Tom Kaulitz.

"My left hand inspired me," she said on the carpet.

Helpers in yellow hazmat suits and face masks walked her down the carpet.

The party was at Cathedrale, Tao Group Hospitality's French-inspired restaurant at Moxy East Village in New York City.

Guests included Questlove, Neil Patrick Harris, Paris Jackson, Taylor Momsen, Offset, Ice-T and Coco, and Eric McCormack.

Apothic served limited edition Type A Blood Bags of its red wine, and Butterfinger was back as title sponsor for a third year.
