Yami Gautam’s horror-comedy Nayyi Navelli earned Rs 4 crore net in India on its second day, Sacnilk reported.

That is a 23.1% rise over its Rs 3.25 crore opening, for a two-day domestic net of Rs 7.25 crore.

Worldwide gross reached Rs 10.13 crore after two days, including Rs 1.50 crore from overseas markets.

The rise came despite fewer shows: 5,945 on Saturday compared with 6,281 on Friday.

Overall occupancy improved from 11% on opening day to 14% on Saturday, with night shows busiest.

Saturday footfalls hit 179,695, taking the two-day total to 334,706 viewers.

The film clashes with Rajkummar Rao’s courtroom drama Prahaar, which opened lower at Rs 2.35 crore.

It marks Tamil filmmaker Balaji Mohan’s Bollywood directorial debut, with a cameo by Jacqueline Fernandez.
