Model and swimwear designer Sahara Ray has died at the age of 34, her family told TMZ.
“She passed away last night surrounded by family at the hospital. She was so loved,” the family said.
No cause of death was reported, and relatives have not released details about memorial plans.
Ray welcomed her first child, a daughter named Snow, earlier this year.
In one of her final Instagram posts on July 19, she shared photos of Snow captioned “My whole heart.”
In 2024 she revealed a diagnosis of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a rare condition in which the immune system attacks nerves.
At the time she said she was paralyzed from her upper thighs down and used a wheelchair and walker.
Later videos showed she had regained much of her mobility, relying on the wheelchair and walker far less.
Fellow model Sabrina Zada paid tribute, writing: “You were bigger than the whole sky.”
