Prime Video has added Sony LIV as an add-on subscription in India, so users can watch Sony LIV shows and sport inside the Prime Video app.
The add-on costs Rs 399 a month or Rs 1,499 a year. Prime Video announced the deal on October 21.
It works on mobile, web, Fire TV, smart TVs and other living room devices, with no separate Sony LIV app needed.
The library includes originals such as the Scam franchise and Gullak, along with films like Sitaare Zameen Par.
Sony SET and Sony SAB shows include Kaun Banega Crorepati, Indian Idol and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, with new episodes every day.
In all there are more than 450 films and 300 shows in eight languages, from Hindi and English to Malayalam and Gujarati.
Live sport includes bilateral India cricket, the UEFA Champions League, the French Open, the Commonwealth Games and UFC.
Subscribers can also watch India's tour of New Zealand, with Tests, ODIs and T20Is, starting October 22.
Rajesh Kaul of Sony Pictures Networks India called the partnership "an important step in expanding that reach in India."
