XGIMI has launched the AURA 3 Max and AURA 3 Pro, ultra-short-throw laser projectors with 4K playback at 120Hz.
Both use 4K UHD RGB triple-laser projection and support Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced.
The Max reaches 5,700 ISO lumens with 8,000:1 native contrast. The Pro offers 4,100 lumens and 7,000:1.
It can cast a 120-inch picture while sitting about eight inches from the wall.
Gaming features include VRR, ALLM and FreeSync Premium. 4K at 120Hz needs an HDMI 2.1 source.
Both models carry Google TV and an 80W Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos.
Kickstarter prices are $2,399 for the Max and $2,199 for the Pro, against MSRPs of $4,999 and $3,999.
XGIMI expects shipping to begin in December 2026, though timelines remain estimates.
