Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer told his team to expect “really uncomfortable” days after a 26-10 loss at Tennessee.

It was No. 6 Alabama’s first back-to-back regular-season losses since 2007.

No. 14 Tennessee shut Alabama out in the second half in Knoxville on Saturday night.

Alabama committed four turnovers and allowed five sacks as its offense struggled all night.

Quarterback Keelon Russell threw for 147 yards with two interceptions and a fumble, and took the blame.

Tennessee running back Desean Bishop ran for 159 yards and two touchdowns.

DeBoer said the focus must be on one game at a time, adding that his players kept scrapping to the end.

Alabama, now 5-2, hosts Texas A&M on Saturday, October 24.
