Yashasvi Jaiswal made an unbeaten 155 as India A drew the second unofficial Test against New Zealand A in Christchurch on 3 November.

He faced 162 balls and hit 15 fours and five sixes, after a run of low scores in his recent matches.

New Zealand A made 424 in their only innings. India A had scored 346, so they were 78 behind when they batted again.

Jaiswal and Yash Rathod then put on an unbroken 247 for the third wicket to bat through the final day.

Rathod, a left-hander from Vidarbha, finished on 100 not out from 122 balls with nine fours.

The captains shook hands soon after Rathod reached his hundred, with India A on 282 for 2 in 52.4 overs.

Jaiswal is in India's squad for the two-Test series against New Zealand, which begins in Wellington on 19 November.

The second Test is in Christchurch from 27 November, in the city where he has just made his 155.

India A had struggled with the bat in the first unofficial Test, and the series finished level.
