Mona Agarwal came back from sixth place to win gold in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 at the Asian Para Games.
Her score of 250.0 set an Asian Para Games record, just 0.4 points ahead of defending champion Avani Lekhara.
South Korea’s Yunri Lee took bronze. The gold-silver finish opened India’s medal account.
Mona led by just 0.1 points before the final shot, then hit 10.8 to Avani’s 10.5.
After the first ten shots, Avani led by 1.9 points and Mona sat sixth.
