Booking Holdings has launched Vayo, a personal AI travel service backed by a planned $100 million investment.
A waitlist opened on 14 October for a free, invite-only private beta of the Seattle-based start-up.
Vayo connects to a traveller’s inbox and pulls in flight, hotel and restaurant confirmations from any brand, even Expedia.
It turns them into one itinerary and watches for price drops, new reservations and schedule changes.
If a flight is delayed, it can flag a late hotel check-in and a dinner booking at risk, and suggest fixes.
Restaurant bookings work through OpenTable. Flights and hotels are handed to the supplier for now.
Chief executive Mike Fridgen, a former Expedia and Decide.com leader, says direct booking should begin within weeks.
General availability is likely in the first half of 2027, and travellers keep approval over actions taken for them.
