Sony announced the next PlayStation Plus Essential games coming to its consoles.

The article identifies the batch as the lineup for October 2026.

The three titles are F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.

F1 25 targets racing fans, while Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a tactical monster-hunting game with player battles.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is described as blocky cooperative action against alien foes.

Kotaku, as cited, noted the October set avoids classic horror themes even though it lands in autumn.

The article says the following month’s games will be named closer to that next cycle.
