President Trump says Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan’s execution will not be livestreamed after all.

The Pentagon had announced last week that the firing-squad execution would be broadcast.

“He will die, as scheduled, by firing squad, but this event will not be streamed,” Trump wrote.

Victims’ immediate families will be allowed to watch the execution in person.

Sources say Trump did not know Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was announcing the livestream plan.

An ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll found 80 percent of US adults opposed streaming it.

Opposition to streaming the execution included 64 percent of Republicans in the poll.
