The Trump administration has revoked more than 300,000 US visas in Trump’s second term, the State Department said.

Spokesman Tommy Pigott said it has revoked more visas at a faster pace than any administration in history.

The count was over 175,000 in an August 10 update and reached 250,000 last month.

At least 4,000 visas were pulled over “birth tourism,” according to the New York Post.

A quarter of 2025 revocations were for assaults or related crimes, and 22% for driving under the influence.

Revocations have also hit pro-Palestinian protesters and people over social media comments on Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Rights advocates say the crackdown violates due process and free speech.

The nationalities of those whose visas were revoked were not disclosed.
