Tata-Iveco plans annual sales of nearly six lakh vehicles within five years, with Tata Motors identifying Iveco models for assembly in India.

Tata Motors has taken control of Iveco after settling its tender offer, holding 89.42% of the Italian truck maker in a deal worth about 3.43 billion euros.

Tata passenger vehicles grew 35% to 7.44 lakh units in the first year after the demerger, lifting market share to 14.1% and second place in India.
