NBC season premieres open the network’s Monday night lineup on November 2, 2026, with St. Denis Medical at 8 p.m. and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins at 8:30 p.m. The Voice follows at 9 p.m. The two shows start their new seasons back to back, giving NBC a full hour of returning shows before The Voice takes over the night.
The Monday schedule puts the premieres at the top of the evening. St. Denis Medical leads at 8 p.m., and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins takes the 8:30 p.m. slot directly after it. The NBC season premieres give the network a full first hour before The Voice. The pairing keeps viewers on the same channel for the first hour, with The Voice holding the 9 p.m. hour that follows.
NBC season premieres at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
St. Denis Medical opens the night at 8 p.m. with its season premiere. Its return gives NBC a scripted opener for the evening. The NBC season premieres at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. run back to back. The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins follows at 8:30 p.m. with its own season premiere, keeping the comedy block going for a second half hour.
The two premieres arrive in the same week as the midterm elections, and their Monday slot sits one night ahead of election night itself. NBC’s schedule for the night does not list election coverage in prime time on Monday, leaving the evening to entertainment programming. The Voice at 9 p.m. rounds out the three show lineup.
The NBC season premieres on Monday air a day before their Peacock listing. Both premieres also appear on Peacock’s weekly list for November 2 to 8. The service lists The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins season 2 premiere and St. Denis Medical season 3 premiere among its Tuesday, November 3 arrivals, a day after the NBC broadcasts. Streaming viewers can therefore catch the new seasons on Peacock the day after they air.
NBC season premieres against rival Monday lineups
Elsewhere on Monday night, ABC airs Dancing with the Stars at 8 p.m. and Shark Tank at 10 p.m. The NBC season premieres face Dancing with the Stars on ABC at 8 p.m. CBS runs FBI at 8 p.m., CIA at 9 p.m. and Harlan Coben’s Final Twist at 10 p.m. Fox airs Name That Tune at 8 p.m. and The Weakest Link at 9 p.m. The CW airs Private Eyes West Coast at 8 p.m. and Law and Order Toronto: Criminal Intent at 9 p.m.
PBS runs Antiques Roadshow at 8 p.m., Pati Jinich Explores PanAmericana at 9 p.m. and Coming Home: From Shadowland to Spiritworld at 10 p.m. The breadth of the Monday schedules means the NBC comedies face direct competition in both half hours, from a dance contest on ABC and a drama on CBS at 8 p.m., and from a game show on Fox at 8:30 p.m.
The Monday night contest matters because the night is crowded. Every major broadcast network has a full prime time slate, and the two NBC premieres have to hold an audience through the first hour before The Voice starts. Two premieres at the top of the night give the network a full hour of returning shows for the new season launches.
