The first week of November 2026 stacks four things on top of each other: the last big batch of third-quarter earnings, with Apple and Palantir on Monday night, AMD on Tuesday night, and Qualcomm, Arm and Uber on Wednesday; the midterm elections on Tuesday, November 3; the October jobs report at 8:30 a.m. ET on Friday, November 6; and the two ISM surveys on Monday and Wednesday.

Below is the schedule for the week, with each company’s own date, call time and guidance, and a record of what each of these stocks actually did on its earnings report day, for every report since 2010. The short version of that record: Palantir is the most volatile reporter of the week by a wide margin, with a median swing of 12.4% on its 24 report days and every single one of them at least 5%.

Earnings open with Apple and Palantir on Monday

Monday, November 2 brings the October ISM Manufacturing PMI at 10:00 a.m. ET. After the close, Apple reports its fiscal fourth quarter. Palantir reports its third quarter after the close, per the exchange calendars. The company’s own outlook, from its August 3 release, put revenue at $2.160 billion to $2.164 billion and adjusted income from operations at $1.292 billion to $1.296 billion, after a second quarter in which revenue grew 93% to $1.935 billion and US commercial revenue grew 149%.

Tuesday, November 3 is Election Day. The market trades a full session, and the first full reaction comes on Wednesday. Before the open, Pfizer reports earnings in its third quarter, with the analyst call at 10:00 a.m. ET, and the exchange calendars also list Shopify before the open. September job openings are due at 10:00 a.m. ET from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Earnings continue with AMD, Qualcomm and Arm

After the close on Tuesday, AMD reports its fiscal third quarter, with the call at 5:00 p.m. ET. The outlook AMD set on August 4 put revenue at approximately $13 billion, plus or minus $300 million, a midpoint implying year-over-year growth of approximately 41%, with non-GAAP gross margin expected at approximately 56%. Second-quarter revenue was $11.5 billion.

Wednesday, November 4 brings Uber reporting earnings before the open, with the call at 8:00 a.m. ET. Uber guided to gross bookings of $58.25 billion to $60.25 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $2.86 billion to $2.96 billion, after second-quarter gross bookings of $58.0 billion. McDonald’s is expected before the open, though the exchange calendars list it for the 4th and McDonald’s had not posted a date or call time on its investor site when this was written.

The October ISM Services PMI is due at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, along with the September trade balance at 8:30 a.m. ET. After the close, Qualcomm reports its fourth quarter and fiscal 2026, with the call at 1:45 p.m. Pacific. Its July 29 guidance put revenue at $9.7 billion to $10.5 billion, QCT revenue at $8.4 billion to $9.0 billion, and non-GAAP earnings per share at $2.05 to $2.25, after a third quarter of $9.9 billion, down 4% from a year earlier. Arm reports its second quarter of fiscal 2027 after the close, with the call at 2:00 p.m. Pacific.

Earnings history shows sharp report-day moves

Across all six companies tracked, the earnings record covers 322 report days, measured the same way. AMD is next behind Palantir at a median swing of 7.2%, and it has closed down on 41 of 67 report days since 2010. Uber and Qualcomm run near 5%. McDonald’s and Pfizer, the two before-the-open reporters on Wednesday and Tuesday, have never moved 10% on a report in this record and rarely 5%.

Thursday, November 5 brings third-quarter productivity and unit labor costs at 8:30 a.m. ET. After the close, per the exchange calendars, Airbnb, Cloudflare, Atlassian and Monster Beverage are among those scheduled to report. Friday brings the October jobs report at 8:30 a.m. ET, covering payrolls, the unemployment rate and average hourly earnings, followed by the University of Michigan preliminary November sentiment reading at 10:00 a.m. ET.

Berkshire Hathaway is on the exchange lists for this week with no date announced. Its third-quarter reports have come out on the first Saturday of November in recent years, on November 1, 2025 and November 2, 2024, so the stock’s first reaction would be Monday, November 9.
