Vivo X500 series has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards certification website, pointing to an India launch by late November 2026. 91mobiles reported on 30 October 2026 that three Vivo smartphones carrying the model numbers V2619, V2621 and V2610 have been certified, and Xpertpick first spotted the listings. Those model numbers are said to belong to the Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max respectively. The BIS listings do not reveal specifications, but certification is normally one of the last regulatory steps before a phone goes on sale in India.

The Vivo X500 series launched in China in September 2026 and made its global debut in October 2026. Vivo has not officially confirmed an India launch date, price or final specifications. Reports put the India launch at the end of November, and the BIS appearance supports that timeline, since all three models are now certified rather than just one of them.

Vivo X500 series BIS listing details

The Vivo X500 series BIS listing matters because it covers the full lineup. Some brands certify one model first and add others later, but the three Vivo model numbers appeared together. That suggests Vivo plans to bring the standard X500, the X500 Pro and the range-topping X500 Pro Max to India, rather than holding one model back for a later date. The listings themselves give no camera, battery or display details, and Vivo has not started official teasers for India at the time of writing.

Global prices give a rough guide to where the Vivo X500 series may sit in India, though Indian prices are often lower than direct currency conversions. Smartprix reported that the standard X500 starts at MYR 4,699 in Malaysia, while in Europe the X500 Pro costs 1,399 euros and the X500 Pro Max runs from 1,599 euros to 2,199 euros. Pre-order offers in those markets run until 30 November 2026, including a free camera grip with the Pro Max in Europe. None of those figures is an India price, and Vivo has not announced Indian configurations.

Vivo X500 series chips and batteries

The Vivo X500 series uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 series chipsets, according to 91mobiles. The standard X500 uses the Dimensity 9600M, while the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max use the Dimensity 9600 Pro. Battery capacities across the lineup range from 6,510mAh to 7,800mAh, with 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging across all three models. All three phones run Android 17-based OriginOS 7 out of the box, based on the global models.

Reports differ slightly on individual battery sizes. The Tech Outlook, citing the global models, puts the standard X500 at 7,500mAh, the X500 Pro at 6,510mAh and the X500 Pro Max at 7,800mAh. Those figures match the range given by 91mobiles, and they show a lineup where even the smallest battery is large by flagship standards. Battery size alone does not decide battery life, since display, chip efficiency and software all play a part, but the capacities put the series among the largest batteries in premium phones this year.

Vivo X500 series cameras

The Vivo X500 series is built around cameras, and the Pro Max leads on that front. The X500 Pro Max has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilisation, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The X500 Pro has the same main camera paired with a 64-megapixel periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom and optical image stabilisation, plus the same ultra-wide lens. The standard X500 has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 64-megapixel telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

That camera setup puts the Vivo X500 series against the OPPO Find X10 series in India, which uses the same MediaTek chipsets and also puts weight on cameras. Vivo has worked with Zeiss on camera tuning in past X series phones, and the X500 series continues that camera-first approach, with autofocus tracking, slow-motion recording and video tools aimed at content creators among the tools tipped for the lineup. Vivo has not confirmed which of those camera tools will reach the Indian models unchanged.

For buyers waiting for a camera flagship, the BIS listing is a practical signal rather than a launch announcement. It shows Vivo has cleared a regulatory step for all three models, and reports point to a late November debut. The date, price, storage options and any India-specific changes to specifications remain unconfirmed until Vivo makes its own announcement.
