Aadarsha Kutumbam House No 47 reaches cinemas worldwide on October 30, 2026. The Telugu film stars Venkatesh Daggubati and is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. It brings the actor and the filmmaker together after two decades, and it is the first time Trivikram directs Venkatesh, after writing for him in earlier hits. Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead, with Nara Rohith and Nivetha Pethuraj in key roles.
Aadarsha Kutumbam press meet and reunion
Trivikram said he wanted to return with a compelling story after Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari, and that finding the right story took time. He said Aadarsha Kutumbam is the result of that wait, and he invited audiences to watch the film in theatres. Nara Rohith thanked Trivikram for offering him an important role, and said he had watched Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari several times. He described being part of the Venkatesh and Trivikram combination as a memorable experience, and said he learnt a great deal during the shoot.
Srinidhi Shetty thanked the media for supporting the film and appealed to audiences to watch Aadarsha Kutumbam in theatres. She said she hoped viewers would enjoy the film and acknowledged everyone involved in bringing the project to life. Thaman praised Trivikram for his writing and dialogues, and said the dedication of every department showed in the final film. He said the team was extremely happy after watching the final copy, and he encouraged audiences to experience the film with their families.
Aadarsha Kutumbam release date changes
The road to release for Aadarsha Kutumbam included several changes of date. The film was first announced on August 15, 2025 under the tentative title Venky77, as it is Venkatesh’s 77th film in a leading role. It was initially scheduled for October 2, 2026, then moved to October 9, and then to October 30. Sacnilk reported that the censor certificate, rated U/A, only came on October 26, days before release.
Reports cited by Sacnilk said sequences in the second half were reworked after the film moved away from its earlier October 9 date. Aadarsha Kutumbam is also promoted as AK 47, a short form drawn from the title. That short form has been used in publicity alongside the full title, Aadarsha Kutumbam House No 47, which translates as Ideal Family House No 47. The family entertainer combines humour and family drama with action and suspense, according to the film’s listings.
Aadarsha Kutumbam opens one week before Ramayana, which is set for release on November 5, 2026. Sacnilk noted that the film’s best window is its opening weekend and the days immediately after it, before premium format screens shift towards the larger release. Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31, which may give family audiences competing plans. The opening weekend response, and word of mouth after the first shows, will now decide how far the Venkatesh and Trivikram reunion travels in cinemas.
