Drishyam held well in its second week. Day eight, Friday 9 October, collected Rs 14.65 crore nett, and the second weekend rose to Rs 26.84 crore on Saturday and Rs 23.20 crore on Sunday. Day 28 is therefore running below the previous day’s final figure at the morning stage, but the full day projection of Rs 0.89 crore would put it close to day 27.
Drishyam advance booking and remaining shows
Advance booking for Friday, 30 October, shows Rs 9.1 lakh gross for Drishyam, with 3,575 tickets sold across 1,810 shows, according to the live page. That advance is lower than the Rs 58.0 lakh advance that day 28 opened with, which reflects both the smaller number of shows planned for Friday and the stage of the run. The Friday advance gives an early sign of that reduction. The final figure for day 28 will be available by around 9 AM on Friday, after the last locations close.
