Jailer 2 has collected Rs 5.08 crore nett so far on day 15 in India, according to live data from BoxOfficeIndia24. The Tamil film, led by Rajinikanth, is heading for Rs 8.07 crore nett for Thursday, 29 October 2026. That projection sits above the Rs 6.61 crore nett recorded on Wednesday, day 14, although the day is still in progress and the final figure can move. The live tracker puts the India total at Rs 416.09 crore nett. Across India, the film has sold 3,84,439 tickets so far today from 10,256 shows, at 12.3 percent occupancy. Overseas business today stands at Rs 33.3 lakh gross.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 opened on Thursday, 15 October 2026. It runs for 2 hours and 45 minutes and carries a UA16+ certificate. The cast includes Rajinikanth, S. J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mithun Chakraborty, Ramya Krishnan and Vidya Balan. BoxOfficeIndia24 describes the story as a follow-up to Jailer, in which former police officer Muthuvel Pandian faces the consequences of his actions against the antique mafia. Jailer 2 arrived with a wide release, and its first days produced the largest daily totals of the run.

Jailer 2 day 15 shows, tickets and occupancy

Day 15 is the first day of the third week for Jailer 2. Ticket sales of 3,84,439 from 10,256 shows point to continued footfalls in the Tamil market and in dubbed versions elsewhere, while 12.3 percent occupancy reflects the mix of morning shows and screens where the film now plays to smaller audiences. A projection of Rs 8.07 crore nett would make Thursday stronger than Wednesday, but morning projections change as evening and night shows report.

Advance booking for Friday, 30 October, already shows Rs 66.8 lakh gross for Jailer 2, with 36,741 tickets sold across 3,081 shows, according to the same live page.

Jailer 2 run so far in week one and week two

Week two, from 22 to 28 October, added Rs 103.18 crore nett, a fall of 67 percent from week one. The confirmed day-wise table shows an opening day of Rs 55.76 crore nett on 15 October, followed by Rs 35.28 crore on day two and Rs 47.70 crore on day three. Day four, Sunday 18 October, was the best day of the run at Rs 56.77 crore nett.

After the opening week, daily totals fell. Day five recorded Rs 42.57 crore nett and day six recorded Rs 44.78 crore nett, before day seven came in at Rs 26.78 crore nett. The second weekend brought a recovery, with Rs 14.78 crore nett on Friday 23 October, Rs 23.60 crore on Saturday 24 October and Rs 24.85 crore on Sunday 25 October. Weekdays then dropped again. Jailer 2 overseas totals and state totals

Overseas business through the confirmed period stands at Rs 264.59 crore gross, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 745.05 crore alongside the India gross of Rs 480.46 crore. The Gulf leads overseas markets with Rs 81.30 crore gross, ahead of the USA at Rs 56.95 crore. The UK and Ireland account for Rs 25.61 crore gross and Canada accounts for Rs 22.86 crore gross. Australia and New Zealand together account for Rs 15.60 crore gross, while Europe accounts for Rs 10.17 crore gross. These overseas figures are confirmed totals updated the day after each day closes, so they do not yet include Thursday’s overseas trading beyond the Rs 33.3 lakh gross reported live for today.

Within India, confirmed state gross figures put Tamil Nadu first at Rs 167.22 crore, from 94,33,105 tickets across 42,326 shows. Karnataka follows at Rs 84.69 crore gross and Kerala follows at Rs 64.63 crore gross. Telangana accounts for Rs 48.85 crore gross and Andhra Pradesh accounts for Rs 39.68 crore gross. Maharashtra accounts for Rs 24.05 crore gross from Hindi and dubbed shows. The state tables count gross before tax and exclude block seats.

BoxOfficeIndia24 lists Rs 500 crore nett in India as the next milestone for Jailer 2, with Rs 87.18 crore to go from the confirmed total of Rs 412.82 crore. Thursday’s live estimate, if it closes near the Rs 8.07 crore projection, would reduce that gap by the day’s final nett figure.
